Annual Friendsgiving & Guest Presentation

South Coast Tropical Fish Society: Annual Friendsgiving & Guest Presentation
It’s that time of year to gather, share a great meal, and celebrate our community! Join us for the annual SCTFS Friendsgiving—an evening dedicated to good food, good friends, and an eye-opening look into aquatic conservation.
The Feast
We’re continuing our club tradition with a full spread of turkey and all the classic fixings.
-
Dessert Potluck: Dinner is on us, but if you’d like to bring your favorite dessert or sweet treat to share with the group, please do!
Special Guest Speaker: Jackie Anderson (Project Piaba)
We are thrilled to welcome Jackie Anderson from Project Piaba.
Jackie will dive into the vital mission of Project Piaba—an initiative dedicated to fostering sustainable, community-driven aquarium fisheries in the Rio Negro basin of the Amazon. You’ll learn firsthand how supporting this fishery protects the delicate river ecosystem, provides critical livelihoods for local families, and why hobbyist education and involvement make all the difference.
